Why Do We Love Waterfalls?

Waterfalls are very popular as a destination for vacations and daytrips. We are drawn to their majesty and beauty. Couples honeymoon near waterfalls and adventurers brave any conditions to get to more remote falls.

Recently, Samford After Sundown offered a one day seminar on photographing waterfalls. Led by SAS Photography Coordinator and veteran photographer Carl DelFavero, students travelled to some of Alabama’s largest waterfalls to learn the tricks of capturing their splendor with their cameras. The images shown here were taken during the seminar.

Samford After Sundown offers Photographing Waterfalls, as well as a wide selection of other day and weekend seminars on a frequent and continuing basis. Check back here regularly for updates because the seminars appear and then fill quickly.
