Healthcare Interpreter Training Certificate Program

The award-winning Healthcare Interpreter Training (HIT) Certificate Program is the first academic program in the Southeast designed to train students who are bilingual in English and Spanish to develop the awareness, knowledge and skills necessary for effective language interpretation in medical or clinical settings. Candidates must be bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish and have earned a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
The next course begins Wednesday, October 6, 2010
Coursework for the HIT program consists of classes taught on Wednesday evenings and every other Saturday over the course of nine months and an internship experience in a local healthcare facility.

Tuition for the HIT Certificate Program is $1995
