Julie Steward, Associate Professor of English, Howard College of Arts and Sciences
Julie Steward has been teaching at Samford University since 1996. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Rice University where she specialized in the study of modern poetry and literary theory. Currently, she teaches courses in creative writing, film studies, literary theory, modern poetry, and Cultural Perspectives. She has published academic articles in Women’s Studies: An Interdisciplinary Anthology, South Atlantic Review, and South Central Review, and her published poems appear in The Kennesaw Review, Poem/Memoir/Story, and Friendly Woman. |
