Lynda Childers Suffridge

Lynda Childers Suffridge is vice president of the National Genealogical Society. She is editor of the Perry County [Arkansas] Historical and Genealogical Society Newsletter and is serving on the Board of the Arkansas Genealogical Society.

She is past-president of the Arkansas Genealogical Society, Heritage Seekers of North Little Rock, and Arkansas Pioneers. Lynda was employed 12 years at the Arkansas History Commission and State Archives in the research room assisting patrons in using Arkansas records for research. She has over 30 years experience researching Arkansas records.

She is an alumna of the National Institute of Genealogical Research at the National Archives and has attended IGHR for many years and this is her fourth year to lecture in Course III on Arkansas Research and The Territorial South. She also lectures at NGS Conferences.
