Since 1995, Brenda Jones has served as a reference librarian at the Lucille Stewart Beeson Law Library, Cumberland School of Law, Samford University. In this position, she provides legal reference services to the law school professors and students, the university community, and the bench and bar. As a law librarian and former practicing attorney, she has more than twenty years experience in techniques of legal research using both print and electronic resources.

Brenda received her law degree (J.D.) from the University of Houston Law Center in 1980, and her undergraduate degree (B.S., Accounting) from Mississippi State University in 1973. She also received a master's degree in library and information science (M.L.I.S.) in 1995 from Louisiana State University. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries, and the Law Libraries Association of Alabama.
