Emma Davis-Hamilton

Emma Davis-Hamilton is a genealogical and historical researcher. She retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army after 23 years of service.

During her military career she served in the Women's Army Corps, Military Intelligence Corps, and the Medical Service Corps. In her last assignment, she served as Inspector General at the 97th General Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Emma has conducted a variety of lectures and workshops in libraries, churches, schools and other community venues. She is a regular volunteer at the National Archives, Atlanta GA.

Emma has attended the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, Samford University since 2004 and has completed the Advanced Methodology course. Emma is a member of the National Genealogy Society; Georgia Genealogy Society; Afro-American Historical and Genealogy Society; South Carolina Genealogy Society and the International Society of Genetic Genealogy.

She has a B.S. degree from Howard University and a M.S. degree in Public Administration for Western Kentucky University.
