Research in the South, Part 3
This course focuses on migration, settlement patterns, religion, geography, economics, kinship groups, race/slavery,
and ethnic groups. Recommended for intermediate to advanced genealogists.

Textbooks: None required; however, Communities of Kinship by
Carolyn Earle Billingsley (University of Georgia Press, 2004) is recommended reading.
