Dr. Ledgerwood is our Department Chair of
World Languages and Cultures and comes to us from Stony
Brook University in New York where he taught in the areas
of French, Portuguese, comparative culture and literature,
Francophone historical civilization and served as Director
of the Language Learning and Research Center, Head of French
2000-2006. Director of Study Abroad Program in Montpellier,
France, 2005 and 2007. He currently teaches upper level
courses in the French program. Dr. Ledgerwood received his
PhD in Romance Languages and Literatures from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
