DAN and TIFFANY LEWIS GROSS live in Jacksonville, Ark. He is a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, and she is a special education teacher at Cabot High School. In January 2002, they will move in Columbus Air Force Base, Miss.
CHAD McDANIEL teaches history and coaches cross-country and track at First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, Ga. He was a 2000 cross-country coach of the year. He and his wife, Stephanie, have a daughter, Betsy, born in April.

McCaskill Using Fulbright for Study, Work in Germany Mary Grace McCaskill '98 has received a Fulbright Scholarship that is enabling her to study and work as a journalist in Germany for a year. She is one of four beginning professional journalists from the U.S. to be designated Fulbright Young Journalists. "The award is fairly new," she said. "Because I was a German major and journalism minor, and because of my work at Southern Living magazine for the past two years, I fit in this category," she reported.

McCaskill is taking courses in Communication Sciences at the University of Erfurt in Thuringen and writing a weekly column in German for the city newspaper about her impressions as an American in Germany. "I am also working on a project titled 'Who Are They Now- Profiles of the Youth of 1989,' which I hope to publish in an English-speaking market," she said. McCaskill will move to Berlin during the spring for a stint as guest journalist/intern at Der Spiegel, one of Germany's most-read newsmagazines. She has been in Germany since August.
