'99 Grads Teach English in China
Damon Anderson, Amanda Backus, Dan Wilkerson and Jason Seale of Samford's Class of '99 recently completed one-year assignments with the English Language Institute of China, teaching English as a second language to Chinese students. VICKI KLAUSER BREWER is a sales associate for Aventiss Pharmaceuticals. Her territory will be Orlando, Fla. She and her husband, HUNTER BREWER '97, live in Casselberry, Fla.

CATHERINE DENISE CLEMENTS has opened Family Care Clinic, a nurse practitioner center in Alexander City.

JULIE CATHERINE DORSCH is a nurse at Bay Medical Center, Panama City, Fla.

BRAD and KATHRYN GIVENS DUNLAP are associated with Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Germantown, Tenn. He is enrolled in the master of divinity program, and she is administrative assistant to the administrative vice president. They live in Olive Branch, Miss.

REBECCA ELMORE is legislative correspondent for U.S. Representative Jim Ryun of Kansas in Washington, D.C.

MARGARET KIMBERLY HARROLD of Birmingham is manager of order entry at U.S. Steel Corporation.

ERICA HAYNES is catering sales manager with the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham.

COURTNEY HERRING and RYAN WILLIAM MAY married in January. They live in Chattanooga, Tenn.

TYLER EDWARD JOHNSON of Miami, Fla., is regional coordinator for Public Online Communications Corporation.

LIBBY N. LOVETT and CRAIG G. SHADINGER were married in June. They live in Birmingham, where he attends dental school and she attends medical school.

VALORIE LAVONNE MILLER is employed at Vulcan Materials Company.

SHELLEY SUZANNE MOORE cheers professionally for the Nashville Kats Arena Football team.

NATALIE NORTON teaches middle school Spanish in West Palm Beach, Fla.

CLINT SHADINGER married TAMARA BAKER in May. He works for Anderson Consulting in Birmingham.

ERICA BRANDON TAYLOR and her husband, Chip, live in Birmingham.

LINDSAY LEIGH THOMPSON is early intervention program coordinator at the Cahaba Center for Mental Health and Mental Retardation in Selma. She is enrolled in graduate school at Auburn University at Montgomery.

MARNIE BETH TOUSSAINT of Birmingham works at Montclair Rhodes Imaging diagnostic center. She is pursuing a master's degree in counseling at the University of Alabama.

MEREDITH LEIGH WILLIAMS of Birmingham works at SouthTrust Bank in the performance enhancement area of investor relations.
