DORIS KERR SEWELL, M.B.A./L'84, has been named vice president, legal and corporate affairs, Precision Standard, Inc., an aircraft maintenance company based in Birmingham.

R. LEIGHTON VANCE of Pell City is senior systems analyst at Liberty National Insurance Company. He and his wife, the former ELLY SHEPHERD '85, have two sons, Zachary, five, and William, one.

L. TAYLOR WARD III, M.B.A./L'84, has been named vice president and deputy general counsel of JM Family Enterprises, an automotive company based in Deerfield Beach, Fla. He and his wife, Theresa, have two children and live in Boca Raton, Fla.

BONNIE STEWART EVANS works part-time in the intensive care nursery at Wake Medical Hospital, Raleigh, N.C. She and her husband have two children, Emma and Lewis.

SHARON SMITH KNERR, M.A. '84, is a substitute teacher in Norman, Okla., public schools. She and her husband, Henry, have two children, Alyssa, 13, and Brennen, 12.

FRANK LANIER MIZE, Jr., of Birmingham is publisher of JOBS-WEEKLY!!!. He and his wife, DEBORAH BOLTON MIZE '79, have three children: Chad, 17, Justin, 14, and Laurie, 11.

Rev. JOHN PRATER is pastor of Marshall Baptist Church, Thomson, Ga. He recently earned a Ph.D. at Trinity Theological Seminary.

Dr. JEFF W. REYNOLDS has been named interim chairman of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Music. He is also music director for the International Cathedral Music Festival.

KATHRYN WOODYARD was named 2000 STAR teacher at Monroe Comprehensive High School, Albany, Ga., and chairs the school's SACS Review Steering Committee. She has earned a master's degree in secondary mathematics education at Georgia Southwestern State University, Americus, Ga.

STEVEN SCOTT RICHARDSON of Louisville, Ky., is owner of First Commonwealth investment firm.

CHRIS LEE CLARK has been named regional manager­sales engineering, New South Communications, a competitive local exchange carrier in Nashville, Tenn.

RICHARD DEAN CRANE has earned a doctorate in religious studies with a specialization in systematic theology at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisc. His dissertation was "The Public and Political Character of Postliberal Theology."

Dr. JACQUELINE GARNER FAUGHT has been appointed to the Wall Street Journal Advisory Board.

CATHY LYNN GRESHAM is associate professor, University of Alabama School of Medicine, in the Tuscaloosa program's Department of Medicine, and is director of medical student affairs for the Tuscaloosa campus.

DWIGHT DUNCAN LAMMON and his wife, Carol, live in Coker. They have two children.
