RALPH and MARTHA PATTERSON EDFELT '44 of Orlando, Fla., are North
American Mission Board mission service corps volunteers assigned
to missionary teams in Florida, Georgia and West Virginia.

Rev. PAUL EDWIN SANDERSON is chaplain at Mount Royal Towers retirement
community in Birmingham.

ELAINE DENLEY SLAUGHTER is the author of a book, Cookies and
Lemonade, honoring the life of her friend and mentor, Dothan
community leader Alveta Houston Hawk. A retired teacher, Slaughter
tutors and teaches reading at the Hawk-Houston Boys and Girls
Club, which Hawk founded. The book is available in Dothan and
at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. Proceeds from the book
will help buy a van for the Club.

Dr. ROBERT CLIFTON CORLEY of Birmingham and his wife, Rebekah,
helped found MPower Ministries three years ago. He is a board
member.
JOHN and ELOISE THOMASON KIRK live in Troy. He was recently inducted
into the Wall of Heroes at Lyster Army Hospital at Fort Rucker
for his dedicated volunteer work with the American Red Cross.
Dr. HENRY RAYMAKER, Jr., serves on community boards developing
teen court services
for first offenders and is an advocate for Alzheimer services
in Laurens County, Ga. He lives in Dublin, Ga.
Drs. ROLAND and CHARLOTTE MATTINSON THORNBURG '50 live in Jacksonville.
Both are retired from teaching at Jacksonville State University.
They recently celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
