DAVID B. FLEMING was recognized as a young business leader in the Birmingham Business Journal "Top 40 under 40" listing for 2000. He is a real estate developer with Sloss Real Estate Group, Inc., Birmingham. At 28, he was one of the youngest people selected for the list.

TRAVIS L. FRAMPTON joined Hardin-Simmons University's Logsdon School of Theology as a visiting professor of Biblical Studies. He holds an M.A. degree in religion from Yale University Divinity School and has completed Ph.D. course work at Baylor University.

SUZANNE LANE was named audit manager at Deloitte & Touche accounting firm in Birmingham.

VIVIAN VANESSA SMITH lives in the Bahamas, where she works with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism as technical adviser and database administrator for the Web site, www.bahamas.com. She earned an A-plus certification and Microsoft professional certification for Windows NT 4.0 and is working toward Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification.
