TRAVESTINE JACKSON WRIGHT of Birmingham is celebrating her 20th year at University Hospital, University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a charge nurse in surgical intensive care.

TIMOTHY BRYAN PARKER was named chief financial officer/
controller for Birmingham Engineering & Construction Consultants, Inc., a geotechnical engineering firm located in Homewood.

ANNA LOGAN GREEN is a counselor at Redeemer Church, Birmingham.

JAMES F. HENRY M.B.A. L'97 is vice chairman of the Health Law Section of the Alabama State Bar for 2000­01. An attorney
with the Birmingham law firm Johnston Barton Proctor & Powell LLP, he concentrates in health care law, administrative law and general civil litigation.

MARK GREGORY TUMMONS is assistant director, Recreation Educational Services, State of Tennessee. He lives in Dickson, Tenn., with his wife and four children.

CHARLES COLLINS of Pelham joined the buying department of Hibbett Sporting Goods, Birmingham. He has a daughter, Abbie, three.

KEN DRAUGHON and his wife, Libby, live in Frisco, Texas, with their two sons, Davis, four, and Will, three. He is worship pastor at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Carrollton, Texas.

WILMA HULL GUTHRIE of Oxford received her national board certification in education in adolescent and young adult science.

LTC ROBERT WALLACE HUDSON is a professional Siberian Husky trainer for dogsled races such as the Iditarod. He lives in Birmingham.

JERRY TAPLEY is director of National RETAIN, a welfare-to-work initiative that helps train and place welfare recipients in careers in health care. Part of the Jewish Employment and Vocational Services of Philadelphia, Pa., the program is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor via the International Association of Jewish Employment Services.

MARY BATES BLANKENSHIP retired in 1998 after 36 years with Birmingham public schools. She was coordinator of family education involvement for K-12.

CHARLES NEAL and PHYLLIS B. WHITLOCK live in Holly Pond. They have two children, Lauren, nine, and Ryan, six.
