Dr. JERRY POUNDS was named vice president for development at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
He was formerly assistant to the president at the seminary. He
and his wife, the former BAYNE BAGDANOVICH '77, have two children, Rebecca, a Samford student, and Jerry, Jr. Bayne is assistant professor of women's ministry at the seminary.

TERRY GEORGE BARKSDALE M.M.'84 celebrated his 10th anniversary as minister of music at Brookwood Baptist Church, Shreveport, La. He and his wife, Melissa, have two sons, Andrew, nine, and Evan, seven.

KAREN HENDERSON teaches theatre and introduction to film in the Department of Theatre and Speech at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

SANDRA E. TURNER ROWLAND earned a master of education degree in art education at the University of Montevallo. She teaches K-4 art and directs the gifted and talented program for grades three and four at Tarrant Elementary. She and her husband, Scott, and their son, Jason, 18, live in Hoover.
