The Second Annual Funderburg Lectureship Golf Tournament is scheduled for October 8, 2005 at Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham. The event, which features a variety of activities, benefits the The Funderburg Lectureship of Samford's Ida V Moffett School of Nursing, Department of Anesthesia. The lectureship was established in 2003 in honor of Samford alumnus Dr. Lonnie Funderburg, who served as the director of the Birmingham Baptist Anesthesia Program for over two decades.

Registration deadline is September 28.
