Samford's A Cappella Choir presented high-profile concerts this year, with engagements at the Kennedy Center in Washington, Spivey Hall in Atlanta and, of course, on campus. Now the choir is headed off on a tour of England.
The choir will serve as the resident choir for three Evensong services at London’s Southwark Cathedral(May 29 & 30 and June1). The choir also will be featured in concerts at St. George’s Chapel (Windsor Castle,) the Temple Church, the Harlaxton International Chamber Music Festival (with School of Performing Arts Dean Joe Hopkins) and at Ely Cathedral. The English tour will close with a joint Evensong service with the noted choir of Clare College (Cambridge) in the Clare Chapel on June 5.
