Samford's School of Performing Arts will present a recital by its dean, Joseph Hopkins, at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 in Brock Recital Hall. The baritone, who became dean in July, 2006, has performed in numerous opera and concert appearences. He performed the title role of Figaro in the production of Il barbiere di Siviglia, which received first place in the 2000 National Opera Association production awards. He has performed with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Madrid Chamber Orchestra and numerous others.
The recital is free-of-charge and open to the public.
