"...Expect lots of doors slamming, missed cues, a plate of sardines, and one hilarious evening..."
Samford's Theatre Department will present Noises Off , directed by Don Sandley, March 1 – 3 at 7:30 p.m. and March 4 at 2:30 p.m. in Harrison Theatre, Swearingen Hall.
The classic Michael Frayn comedy follows the missteps of a hapless theatre company attempting to produce a farce called Nothing On. The audience sees the actors from the first ridiculously dreadful rehearsals, to opening night as seen from backstage, to the mistake-filled and who-cares final performance. The play within a play revolves around the personal relationships among the cast, which lead to offstage mischief and onstage pandemonium. Expect lots of doors slamming, missed cues, a plate of sardines, and one hilarious evening.
The box office (726-2853) is open 1 – 5 Monday through Thursday and 1 to 3 Friday.
