Futral To Lead Landmark Metropolitan Opera Production

Samford alumna Elizabeth Futral '85 is leading a stellar cast in the Metropolitan Opera's production of The First Emperor, and music lovers who can't make it to New York City will still be able to enjoy her performance on January 13. Movie theaters throughout the nation will carry a live broadcast of the Tan Dun opera, which has been heralded as the most important production of the century.
