| The Samford family gathered in November
to celebrate achievements of the past year and to honor philanthropists
whose generosity made those achievements possible. The gala evening that
featured music by Samford student musicians, personal remarks by representatives
of the Samford community and presentation of special gifts to members
of Samford's lifetime giving societies.
Members of the lifetime giving societies – Samuel Sterling Sherman Society,
Lovelace-Wilkerson Society, A. P. Montague Society and Harwell G. Davis
Society – were honored at a special pre-dinner reception hosted by Samford
President and Mrs. Thomas E. Corts. |
