Thurston Moore, president, Tennessee
Players, Incorporated, spoke of the heritage of Albert Schweitzer and
Johann Sebastian Bach. A painting of the two men was done by Nashville,
Tenn., artist Connie Erickson as part of a project created by Moore.
The painting, Moore noted, had been hanging in his home until it was
acquired recently for the Samford library. |

teenage years. |
