We are blessed with a beautiful campus. We hope you will visit with friends and family. When you do, keep these points in mind.

Athletics

Samford participates in 17 intercollegiate athletic programs. We hope you will support Samford athletes on campus and around the country. Currently, we participate in the Ohio Valley Conference. www.ovcsports.com

In August of 2008 we will begin competing in the Southern Conference.

Parking

Guest parking is available all over campus. We encourage you to use guest parking areas rather than designated areas for students, faculty and staff. Also, parking in front of Samford Hall is preferably for short term visits to Samford Hall or the library. (View map.)

Meal options

When visiting campus, we hope you'll join us in the Caf or food court, each located in the University Center, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. (View daily menu.)

The Samford Bookstore

The Samford Bookstore is located on the main level of the University Center.

We encourage you to shop online. Please call (205-726-2834) to confirm hours prior to a visit. 

Office of Campus Safety

The Office of Campus Safety is located in the west side of the University Center. Please check in for a temporary parking tag. 

Orientation

Samford provides new student orientation in June each year. This is an opportunity for students and the parents to learn the campus, meet faculty and staff involved with student leadership and get to know one another.
