George Irons & Lee Roy Jordan
All-American Orange Bowl winning and All-Pro linebacker Lee Roy Jordan enjoys fellow Hall of Famer Dr. George Irons. Jordan is called the "Human Torpedo." Coach Bryant said, "If they stay in bounds, Lee Roy will get 'em." Jordan also played before a packed Orange Bowl where Bama demolished Big 8 champ Oklahoma before President John F. Kennedy. Kennedy visited the Sooners dressing room before the game, but came to the Tide's winning dressing room after the game. Bud Wilkinson is on the losing end as legenday coach of the Sooners.
