Sisterhood in Zeta Tau Alpha can be defined in so many ways. On one hand, it encompasses all of the fun events we hold for ourselves with the purpose of spending quality time with each of our sisters!
Sisterhood is a Valentine-themed chapter and Babe Ruth’s baseball-themed birthday party… It is tumbling and stunting and cheering for each other at sisterhood retreat… It means eating a pancake dinner together every once in a while... But sisterhood is more than what we do. In Zeta Tau Alpha, sisterhood is who we are. We are all members of an incredible body of women. We are made up of unique individuals with different interests and talents and passions.
It is because we are so different as individuals that we can learn from each other. We can encourage each other and grow together as one body of women bound together forever by Zeta Tau Alpha. Sisterhood is appreciating each of the remarkable women standing around us for who they are. We celebrate with our sisters in their triumphs, and we comfort them in their defeats.
