As you prepare for the week of recruitment, know that it is not something to be nervous about. This is a time for you to learn about Zeta Tau Alpha as a sorority and as an organization. More than anything, we want you to feel comfortable when you walk into our house. Our desire is to learn about you and your unique qualities. We know that talking to new people can be overwhelming, but just relax and truly be yourself. We encourage you to ask lots of questions during each party.
The week of recruitment will include three parties. You will first learn about our philanthropy, which is breast cancer education and awareness. You will hear some stories of how breast cancer has affected us personally, and how we are actively fighting for this cause. The second night will be a time for you to really seek out what we stand for as a sisterhood, and a chance for us to learn more about who you are as an individual. The last party will be a chance for you to see our sisterhood in a unique way. You will get to see the qualities that make this sorority what it is.
As the week of recruitment gets closer, remember that this is an exciting time for you. Enjoy every moment of it. The Greek system at Samford University consists of amazing organizations; I know that you will enjoy the time you have to learn about each one. The sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha are excited to share with you a part of our lives that we love so much!
