The sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha are devoted to their philanthropy, breast cancer education and awareness. The girls work hard each year to raise money for a cure, to educate the community about the disease, and to encourage those who are battling breast cancer. Each member of Zeta Tau Alpha makes a Think Pink basket consisting of pink gloves, pink slippers, or pink nail polish and additional items that might cheer up breast cancer patients and then deliver the baskets to them.

Zetas also work hard to raise money for their philanthropy through fundraising activities on campus. Recently, Zeta Tau Alphas at Samford collected money and passed out informational pamphlets both on campus and in the community during their fundraiser, “Paint the Town Pink”. They encouraged everyone on campus to join them in wearing pink to show their support for finding a cure for breast cancer.

Zeta’s service, however, doesn’t end with their work for their philanthropy. Girls currently participate in tutoring at a local elementary school, visiting residents in nursing homes, and going on various mission trips. Members of Zeta Tau Alpha consistently invest their time in working for their philanthropy and in improving their community.
