ALEEC Fall Conference: November 4, 2006

2003 Summer Scholar Dr. H. Hugh Floyd, Jr., Professor and Chair, Sociology Department, Samford University. Dr. Floyd’s studies during the summer focused on environmental psychology.
Special Event 2003 Vulcan Materials Center and the biology and chemistry departments partnered with the Birmingham Board of Education, Storm Water Management Authority, Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to teach elementary students about environmental conservation. Steven B. Richerson, Illusionist, Eco-entertainer and Kid Comedian performed for approximately 1700 4th graders at The Wright Center on Samford's campus.
