Diplomas for Fall 2009 (December) and
Graduation Application for Spring 2010 and beyond

FALL 2009 DIPLOMAS:
Diplomas for degrees conferred in December 2009 are on order and will be available in late January or early February. They will be mailed as soon as they are ready, unless the graduate made arrangements to pick up his/her diploma (an e-mail will be sent to those students when diplomas are available for pickup). If picking up your diploma in person, please bring a photo ID to the Student Records Office between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Call 726-2589 if you have questions.

APPLICATION FOR SPRING 2010 GRADUATION:

Deadline to submit the application for Spring 2010 (May) graduation was officially October 1, 2009. However, if you plan to graduate this spring, please come by the Student Records Office and complete the graduation application as soon as possible! Applications will be accepted throughout Jan Term and Spring. A degree audit/graduation check will be initiated upon receipt of your application, so the sooner you submit the form, the better. Thanks.

Deadline to submit the application for Summer 2010 (August) graduation is February 15, 2010.

APPLICATION FOR FALL 2010 GRADUATION:

Deadline to submit the application for Fall 2010 (December) graduation is April 1, 2010.


NOTE: At this time, Graduate Students do not need to complete the application.

Planning to take a course at another college or university over the next term/semester?

If you're taking a course at another institution in the coming term/semester (but which is not part of the BACHE program), you need to complete a Transient Enrollment Form (aka Letter of Good Standing Request). Be sure to provide course descriptions from the institution you are planning to attend before securing department approval. (Course descriptions must accompany the Transient Enrollment Form when it's submitted to the Office of Student Records.)

Deadline is April 15.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember to instruct the college or university you are attending to send a transcript to Samford. They will not do so automatically, so you may have to complete a written request.
