Active participation of faculty and administrative members of the Society in the circle's activities and their hearty cooperation with the student members is a feature of great importance in Omicron Delta Kappa. Their active and continuous affiliation with the circles increases the stability and effectiveness of the Society.
The Samford University Circle's Faculty Advisor, Dr. Roderick Davis, was the 2007 recipient of the Omicron Delta Kappa Bishop Advisor of the Year award. Dr. Davis was chosen out of 300 other qualified faculty advisors to receive this award.
Since his induction into the Samford University circle in 1956, Dr. Davis has made an unwavering commitment to Omicron Delta Kappa for fifty years. He works to ensure that OΔK not only builds camaraderie among its members but also works to promote campus-wide leadership. As the faculty advisor, members can trust that Dr. Davis is reliable, thorough, and wise.
