Federal Work Study Community Service Program- Samford's Financial Aid Office coordinates this program which offers opportunities of employment to students who wish to work off-campus for a local Nonprofit Organization or Public Agency or as a reading/math tutor for local elementary schools through the America Reads & Counts Program. Students must be currently enrolled at Samford University and awarded Federal Work Study.

THEOLOGICAL EXPLORATION OF VOCATION SITES:
Lilly Foundation - Would you like to know more about the organization that presented the Theological Exploration of Vocation grant to Samford that initiated this site? Although independently managed, the Lilly Foundation is connected to Eli Lilly and Company (Pharmaceuticals). The Lilly Endowment was established in 1937 by members of the Lilly family as a vehicle by which to pursue their personal philanthropic interests.
