"We hope to provide students with public speaking, research and critical thinking skills," Galloway said. "Combining competition with an academic outlet produces tremendous results."
"I am proud to be a part of a program that teaches students valuable skills in research and public speaking, which have great value in preparation for college and the real world," Gramzinski said.
The team will continue to provide these opportunities for students and give back to the community around them.
"We are proud of what we do, and we would love for other students to come by to watch BADL debates in particular," Galloway said.
"It is a great opportunity to help with and interact with students outside the Samford bubble."
The members of the Samford debate team have ultimately placed a passion for others alongside their passion for words and ideas.
