Azalea began her employment at Samford in January 2007 as the receptionist in the Office of Admission, where her primary responsibilities included the coordination of campus visits for prospective students. In September 2008, she transferred to her current position of Department Secretary for Accounting and MIS.
Azalea is a 2006 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising and a minor in Spanish, and is currently pursuing an MBA at the Brock School of Business.
Azalea and her husband, Ryan, live in Vestavia Hills
