Robert Blakely joined the development team at Samford University as an Advancement Officer in March, 2008. Blakely’s main focus will be to work on the $100 million endowment campaign that was announced at the naming ceremony of the School of Business to the Brock School of Business in December 2007. Robert has more than 14 years experience in both nonprofit and academic fundraising at higher education institutions including: The Share Group (Amherst, MA), DePauw University (Greencastle, IN), Rhodes College (Memphis, TN), and most recently The Citadel (Charleston, SC).
Robert and his fiancée, Stefanie, are thrilled to be among extended family in Birmingham, and are looking forward to joining the close-knit community at Samford.
