Phonathon to Start Sept. 8
Beginning Monday, Sept. 8 a group of talented Samford students will pick up phones to share campus news, update alumni contact information and solicit prayer requests. You can meet the callers now by following the link at right.
The students will also take a brief moment to share a student or alumni testimonial and then ask you to make a difference in the lives of students by making a donation to the Samford cause of your choice. Every dollar counts and we hope to have all alumni joining in to help Samford raise money for specific needs, including more scholarships and endowed funds.
Samford’s alumni giving rate is a critically important factor in the university’s U.S. News and World Report ranking , which in turn influences the private and public grants and corporate gifts we receive. All of these gifts increase the value of Samford as a school and consequently increase the value of your Samford degree.
So, when that phone rings in coming weeks, consider it your call to action! Take just a moment to meet the Samford students on the other end of the line and help support the university that connects you.
