Pharmacy Students, Faculty to Host ‘Operation Immunization’ Booth
Students and faculty of Samford’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy will host an Operation Immunization booth at the Southern Women's Show at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex Thursday, Oct. 2 (10 am-7 pm), Friday, Oct. 3 (10 am-8 pm), Saturday, Oct. 4 (10 am-8 pm), and Sunday, Oct. 5 (11 am-6 pm).
Operation Immunization will provide information about the risks of preventable diseases, the importance of immunizations and vaccine schedules for all ages. The booth will be sponsored by McKesson, APCI, Ritch's Pharmacy and Southern Pharmaceuticals. Materials will be provided by Merck.
