Samford To Present Festival of Christmas Music Friday Night
Samford's 2010 Festival of Christmas music will begin at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 3, in Wright Center Concert Hall.
This year's festival includes a diverse mix of sacred and secular Christmas music (don't miss the steel band in the lobby!) and concludes with a performance of Gian Carlo Menotti's one-act opera Amahl and the Night Visitors, which tells the story of a family's encounter with the wise men on their way to find the Christ child.
Samford employees each receive one complimentary ticket. Additional tickets are $12 (adult,) $9 (55+,) and $6 (student/child).
