Basketball Season Begins This Weekend!
Samford's regular-season basketball games begin this weekend, with games for both men's and women's teams.
The women will get things started Friday, Nov. 13 at home in Pete Hanna Center against Jacksonville State (7 p.m. tip-off).
The men will open the season Nov. 13-15 at the annual Hispanic College Fund Classic at Kent State University. The Bulldogs are scheduled to play Kent State, Wisconsin-Green Bay and the University of Alabama At Birmingham during the three-day tournament. The match against UAB will be the first since 1983.
