Samford to Host Nevin Newton's Wooden Sculpture Nov. 1-30
Samford University Art Gallery will exhibit the artwork of sculptor Nevin Newton Nov. 1-30.
Newton, whose award-winning "Heralding Trumpets" has been on display in Brock Recital Hall, is a master craftsman and artist whose work in wood inspires both awe and delight.
The exhibit and reception are free-of-charge and open to the public. Samford Art Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday (closed holidays and school breaks).
