Music Events To Fill Homecoming Week
Samford's School of the Arts will present four music events Homecoming week, beginning with a concert by guest organist and Juilliard professor Paul Jacobs, who performed on the newly dedicated Hardenburgh Organ in Reid Chapel, which was held Oct. 23.
A Division of Music faculty recital was held Oct. 25 in Brock Recital Hall featured Angela Flaniken, viola, Jeffrey Flaniken, violin, and Donald Sanders, piano.
Samford's Wind Ensemble will perform Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall.
Samford's newest music series will continue with a Homecoming Vespers service featuring A Cappella Choir and University Chorale Oct. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in Reid Chapel.
All of the events are free-of-charge and open to the public.
