Oct. 27 Forum Will Address Economic Crisis
Samford’s Brock School of Business will present a special forum on the current economic and financial crisis Monday, Oct. 27 from 4-5 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall.
A panel of experts will discuss current economic events, including the upcoming presidential election.
The panel will include:
- Dr. Lowell Broom, Professor of Accounting and Chair, Department of
Accounting & Management Information Systems - Dr. Randolph Horn, Associate Professor of Political Science
- Dr. Stefan Norrbin, Professor of Economics & Beeson Professor of
Business, and Chair, Department of Economics, Finance & Quantitative
Analysis - Dr. Beck Taylor, Professor of Economics & Dean, Brock School of
Business - Prof. John Venable, Assistant Professor of Business and Faculty Advisor,
Bulldog Investment Fund - Dr. Melissa Woodley, Assistant Professor of Finance
- Randy Pittman, Samford’s Vice President for University Relations, will moderate the forum.
The event is free-of-charge and open to the public.
