Join Samford in the Carolinas This Week!
This week provides two great opportunities to attend Samford events in the Carolinas.
Joe Hopkins, Dean of Samford's School of the Arts, will be the featured guest for a reception with alumni, parents, friends and prospective students at the Ritz Carlton in Charlotte North Carolina Oct. 15. All Samford friends are invited to attend. Reservations are requested: sualumni@Samford.edu
“We are really excited to visit Charlotte," said David Goodwin, Director of Samford's Parent and Alumni Programs. "We’ve got great connections there through alumni and parents and a great opportunity to welcome new students and families to Samford." Class of 2009 graduate and Charlotte native Lauren Lunceford also will speak to the guests.
Click to view full mapOn Saturday, the Samford football team will play SoCon rival Furman and the office of alumni & parents programs has partnered with the office of admission to provide a pregame tailgate party in Greenville, South Carolina. “We’ve got great friends around the Greenville area and we know this could be a big event," Goodwin said. "We’ll have Samford tents set up above the end zone and are expecting a big crowd."
