‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead’ To Open Theatre Season Sept. 30

Samford's Michael J. and Mary Anne Freeman Theatre and Dance Series will present the Tom Stoppard play "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead"Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 3, 2:30 p.m. All performances will take place in Samford's Harrison Theatre.
"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" is the fabulously inventive tale of "Hamlet" as viewed from the perspective of two bewildered and doomed minor characters.  Stoppard's modern dramatic masterpiece echoes "Waiting for Godot" in its mix of reality and illusion, and follows its hapless heroes to their tragic but inevitable end.
