Join Samford in Greenville Oct. 17
Join the Samford family for a tailgate party in Greenville, Sc. before the gridiron battle between Samford and Furman Saturday, Oct. 17.
“We remember the rivalry with Furman from long ago and now as we play them in regular Southern Conference action, we get to tangle more often," said Director of Alumni & Parents Programs David Goodwin. "They snuck away with a win last year and we look forward to returning the favor.”
Goodwin said he expects many Samford students will visit friends at Furman for the game, adding to big numbers for the tailgate party. “We had great success with the party in Oxford for the game last year against Ole Miss, and I’m sure folks will want to come out for this game as well.”
Event details are not yet confirmed but Goodwin said his office will begin accepting registrations within a couple of weeks. Follow the link below and check back often for updates.
