Tickets Available for Annual Faculty Recognition Dinner
The Office of Alumni Programs will host its annual faculty recognition dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28 in the Hanna Center Hospitality Suite.
The event was started in 2006 when Dr. Jimmy Harper and Dr. Wayne Flynt hosted a dinner for some longtime faculty members. In 2007, David Goodwin, director of alumni, partnered with Harper and Flynt to bring the event on campus. This year, Dr. Jim Brown from the history department and Mary Hudson who taught math at Samford will be recognized.
Tickets are $15 per person. Checks may be made payable to Samford University and mailed to the Alumni Office, Samford University, 800 Lakeshore Drive, Birmingham, AL 35229. Reservations are due no later than Sept. 21.
