Art Gallery To Host Jane Timberlake Cooper Show Starting Aug. 23
The Samford University Art Gallery will present the show "Goldilocks (revisited)" by visual arts instructor Jane Timberlake Cooper Aug. 23-Sept. 28.
The artist uses imagery found in traditional still-life painting, shiny packaging and corporate brand identities to create the theme of Goldilocks, a modern-day interpretation of the story that relates to our inability to be satisfied.
The Art Gallery will host a reception and artist’s talk Sept. 7, 4–6 p.m. The reception and show are open to the public free-of-charge.
Art Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
