WVSU Collecting School Supplies for Children in Need
As part of its "WVSU Shares" community service project, Samford's radio station is collecting school supplies for children residing at Olivia's House, a drug treatment program for women.
Items needed include pens, pencils, notebooks, paper, glue, markers, colored pencils, scissors, binders, pocket folders, and clear/see-through backpacks.
WVSU also hopes to get school uniforms–white and blue collared shirts, and blue, khaki, and black pants–for both boys and girls.
Drop off donated items by Aug. 11 at Samford's University Center (Talbird Circle entrance) or Brooks Hall Room Room 119.
