Samford Hosts Thousands at LifeWay Summer Camps
Samford is hosting a series of eight week-long religious youth camps summer. The ministry-focused "MFUGE"camps, organized by LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention, are bringing to campus between 475 and 550 students and counselors per week June 8- July 25.

Samford is serving as only one of many camp sites, which were concentrated in the Southeastern U.S.
Camp activities included bible study, worship, recreation and various kinds of service ministry in local communities, including yard work and house painting.
Pastors Tim Wheat and Seth Burlison are leading the Samford camps on an alternating schedule, while Worship Leader Shane Burlison is remaining throughout the series.
The nonprofit Lifeway organization is one of the world’s largest providers of Christian products and services.
