Join Us For Homecoming 2009!
Samford's office of Alumni & Parents programs, in partnership with the office of Student Involvement and SGA, has announced plans for Samford Homecoming 2009.

With more than 30 events–many of them free of charge–and more than 15 reunions already planned, Homecoming 2009 promises something for everyone.
Friday's events will include registration, the annual Alumni Association meeting, the traditional Evensong program and a new Samford Chef's event. Friday's biggest event is the Homecoming Banquet, honoring the Alumni of the Year, Carolyn and Michael Robinson, and our first Outstanding Young Alumnus honoree, Dr. Eric Motley.
Saturday also will be packed with big events, including school-specific continuing education programs, breakfast gatherings, the Corts Parade, Homecoming Festival and Talbird Tailgate time leading into the Homecoming Football game against Georgia Southern.
On Sunday we can all come together for the annual Homecoming worship service, this year led by Dr. William Shiell and Dr. Kely Hatley, .alumni who serve at First Baptist Church, Knoxville.
Director of Alumni & Parents Programs David Goodwin said the program is expanding daily, so alumni should check the schedule frequently . “Just today we have added a ZTA reunion," he said. Goodwin said informational materials will be mailed to alumni in the next week.
Registration for events will open August 1st. Follow one of the links below to see current Homecoming 2009 schedules and information.
