Bilingual Play for Kids to Explore Wonderland Through Latina's Eyes May 5
Samford Theatre for Young Audiences will perform the original bilingual play Alicia en La Loteria May 5 at 3:30 p.m. in Harrison Theatre.

With a nod to Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland, Alicia en La Loteria tells the story of a young Latina plunged into a world of strange new customs and odd characters. This play entertainingly explores the questions of what it means to be an alien and what it means to be at home.
The play, part of Samford's Creative Drama class, will be performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland, in August.
The play is free and open to the public.
